You could never tell by the pictures I am sharing with you in this blog, but these two definitely had some major curve balls thrown at them before their big day. Travis was almost deployed a couple of weeks before the set wedding date, and Travis, Michelle, and all of Travis’ family were still mourning the unfortunate recent loss of Travis’ mother. Everything seemed very sudden and the stress of everything was heartbreaking. But despite everything going on, when Travis and Michelle got the green light that their wedding was still going to take place, I never expected to see two people who were so calm, and sweet to everyone around them. I think it was the hottest day of the year in North Carolina, but these two soaked in all the moments they could. You could tell that they had been through thick and thin together, and when Michelle would rest gently in Travis’ arms you could tell how safe they both felt. Life had been a rollercoaster recently for both of them, but to see the happiness in their faces when everyone they loved gathered to share their new marriage, made for an absolutely beautiful celebration.
