BABY LEO / FAMILY / OUTER BANKS, NC

I have never been to Jockey’s Ridge, but when I got the opportunity to capture Anna and her family at the year-round home in the Outer Banks, I jumped at the chance. It was such an honor to welcoming little Leo into the world, two weeks after he was born, and Anna simply amazed me climbing the dunes like a freakin champ, two weeks postpartum.

We got up super early and had the place to ourselves, and it was glorious. There was plenty of space to run around and have fun, and watching the sunrise over the water was everything you could dream it to be. I know I am a broken record, but I can never tell you how important it is to have someone capture your family from time to time. It is insane to see how fast kids grow up, but these memories you will be able to hold onto forever.
