STEVEN & ALLISON | OCEANFRONT WEDDING | OCEAN ISLE, NC

Steven and Allison had to find other plans to celebrate their special day after the pandemic hit. They thought, why not just go to the beach. They rented a huge beachfront property on Ocean Isle where their closest friends and family gathered. Being from North Carolina, I absolutely love the beach, and getting to do a wedding without shoes is the real dream. Even though this wasn’t what was planned for the original day, I think it suited Steven and Allison even better. We got one of the craziest sunsets I had ever seen, and everyone was allowed to just be outside and enjoy what the beach had to offer. It was chill but so much fun. Everyone who was there made the party a worthy celebration, and the toasts had both the bride and groom crying by the end of the night.

I am very thankful to all my couples who kept their heads high through all this, found other ways to celebrate their love, and adjusted all their plans. None of it was easy, but man oh man did I get to capture some truly unique weddings this year that I know I would have never had the opportunity to be a part of otherwise.
