ERIC & ALISHA | CHATHAM STATION | CARY, NC

Eric and Alisha's wedding was long-awaited! Seeing these two finally be able to have their day was everything a photographer could hope for after having to reschedule it from their original date. Of course, though, these two have made it through so much. Unexpectedly, Alisha’s father passed away about a month before their wedding, and it was something that was very important to Alisha to capture moments with her immediate family on her wedding day. She did a first look with them, her brother and sister walked her down the aisle and she had her first dance with her mom. So many tears but so much love as well.

I also do have to give the award to this group for being the best bridal party you could ever hope for. They were hilarious and knew how to keep Eric and Alisha laughing all day. The toasts during the reception really spoke to how wonderful Alisha and Eric were, and how much their community cared for them. It was such an outpour of love, on this chilly November day that ended with great food, dancing, and a beautiful sparkler exit.
